Crescent
2009 personal work
9 in. X 12 in. Digital

Recently I listened to the podcast novel CRESCENT, by Phil Rossi. I was enthralled, and a couple of weeks later, I was inspired to create my vision of what Crescent station would look like. I purposefully did not look at any other artist's interpretations, and solely relied on my recollection and feelings that the narrative left to me. This is the result. I wanted the station to look like a gigantic, dangerous and foreboding relic floating in space, with sections where the lighting had failed, and lots of meteorite damage. Yet, I also wanted it to look busy as a working space hub, where the events of the novel take place. For those who may be interested, CRESCENT is well worth reading.
