Do Overs and Detours

This illustration combines elements form six different stories in the collection into one intense layout. Originally, the publisher had asked for a front cover only, and the image would have been the psychotic mime juggling shrunken heads. Wisely, he chose to change to a wraparound layout, which opened the door for some truly strong imagery. I used photos of myself for reference on the dark stranger in the trench coat. The cosmos inside the coat is quite effective.
