Taste of Tenderloin

My first cover of 2011 is a friendly Horseman of the Apocalypse, Death. The collection features stories set in and around the Tenderloin district of San Francisco. Some viewers will recognize the ferry building in the background. I had quite a bit of fun working to make my version of the grim reaper original, by adding rune and symbol covered armor, gauntlets, and soul collecting orbs. The horse was fun as well, and all the challenges this painting posed were as daunting as they were satisfying to overcome.
