Process
This is where I give a short overview of my painting process.
In 2009, I made the switch to all digital workflow, and my Wacom tablet has not had a break since.
This means my process is now to come up with small concept paintings, which in turn are developed into final
paintings when chosen by the client. I try to offer two or more alternative concepts per project, but there are a few where
I hit the mark with the first concept. Luck does exist in the illustration business after all!
What follows is a series of quick concept paintings, some of which will be recognizable,
others won't. All were fun,
loose, brainstorming in action.

Traditional Process
For just about every traditional painting I completed, I used this general series of steps, with the
exception of my oils, which used the acrylics as an underpainting, and then the entire image was painted
over in oils. I haven't painted this way in years now, but I expect I will return for a visit now and then.
